Mind is a "First Person Puzzler" that drag you into a fantastic and surreal world, created by the mind of our character (maybe nick? I saw it in a wall) in a comatose state.
Every zone and every game object are directly linked with the turbolent past that it had to go through.
His father was an extreme weather and storm hunter, in one of his trips he brings her children and here the worst happens. A gigantic tsunami appear on the horizon and the only thing that our character can do is to climb a tree and on top of this, see, impotently, the sister Sophia drowning, and lose the tracks of his father.
From here, decay begins, "drowning" his sorrows in alcohol as a result of a destroyed family and in denial of the sister death.
The game start in a town (Naya Fornells, Menorca, Spain), during a big storm with a gigantic hurricane that approaches powerfully towards us.
At the sight of what is going to happen we return by home to search our daugther that is called profetically "Sophia".
once you reach the home and entered in our daughter room, a great wind gust throw us to the ground with fury letting us in a decades long coma.
During this state start our fantastic journey through the "Path to Thalamus", in search of redemption and salvation.
The Road will be full of obstacles we should overcome bending to our will the natural elements.
We will make the sun rise and go down, we will make the rain go down and let down the fog, we will rise again ancient ruin destroyed by time.
The puzzle are poorly explained, they are created in a "trial and error" style, making you wrong many times before understanding the riddle dynamic and this make you satisfied overcoming the obstacles.
During our journey we will see breathtaking environments, endlessly hilly zones surrounded by greenery, beaches that stretch to the horizon, claustrophobic caverns, large forests with ancient ruins, giant buildings that stand up as far as the sky, always with that tree that represent the thalamus on the horizon and, the whole surrounded by messages that will lead you to discover the secrets and thoughts that afflicts our character.
Finally, the soundtrack, created by Chris Zabriskie, that I found absolutely amazing, It blends perfectly making you feel even more inside the game, making you relaxed when you need it and distressed in the worst moments.
I think that this game is really amazing and the fact that is not created from a big manufacturer but from a really tiny team (3 boys) I remain speechless.
At this point I leave you with the game trailer, to give you an idea of what I'm talking about, listen carefully preferably with headphones and in HD quality (it was just this video to make me fall in love with this masterpiece) and with a bunch of screenshot that I did during my playthrough.
I will insert here just twenty but I leave the link with my entire album on imgur with over 150 screenshots.
